šŸŽ A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Game of Thrones Fun Continues

As A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms adds Targaryens and Baratheons to its prequel story, we see again how different this Game of Thrones story really is.

Tuesday Edition January 27, 2026

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is certainly capturing our attention. The tale of Dunk and Egg is a compelling story in quite a different way from its predecessor, Game of Thrones. In our review of the latest episode, for example, we hear about the ā€œinfectious party atmosphereā€ of a jousting tournament and how Dunk was ā€œraised… to be a good person.ā€ Qualities not often seen in this franchise!

In addition to our interview with Daniel Ings below about his character Lyonel Baratheon, you’ll also want to check out our chat with Peter Claffey (Ser Duncan) and Tanzyn Crawford (Tanselle) about their characters' connections to Brienne of Tarth, another tall and admirable knight like Dunk. If you’re following this series as closely as we are, you won’t want to miss a single letter of our coverage!
