It would appear at first glance that today’s newsletter is mostly focused on the recent release of the Nintendo Switch 2. After all, besides our analysis of whether or not the flagship title, Mario Kart World, is worth its hefty pricetag, we have an article below about The Legend of Zelda. Vintage Nintendo, right?
Except our Zelda piece is actually about the upcoming live action movie and how it signals a shift in summer blockbuster focus from big Marvel properties to video game adaptations. Don’t get me wrong, we do have a nice article on the site entitled Nintendo Switch 2: Is It Worth Buying at Launch?, but aside from some special enhanced relaunches of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, there are no special Zelda titles on the Switch 2.
Not yet, anyway…
