Granted, Justin Long and Kate Bosworth also injected humor into Coyotes, but they’re only taking the wildlife encounters that they experience all the time up a notch. It only takes a small tweak to turn an everyday menace into a dangerous threat worthy of a creature feature!

Just ask first time director Chris Stuckmann, a YouTube critic who made the move from reviewing movies to making them. His film Shelby Oaks actually involves the disappearance of — you guessed it — a YouTube personality. This takes the concept of “write what you know” to another level! Next thing you know, I’ll be making a movie about a newsletter editor who is stalked by an obsessed subscriber!
