šŸŽ¬ Death of the Unicorn Director Shares Exclusive Historical Inspirations

You would think that with a movie like Death of a Unicorn, you wouldn’t have to worry about historical accuracy. After all, the film is a tongue-in-cheek horror flick about the aftermath of a man and his daughter hitting a mythical unicorn with their car. Not exactly the most realistic scenario!

But despite the vast departure the movie takes from established unicorn mythology, there actually is a basis for the horned creature being much more dangerous than the cute creatures we think about today featured on t-shirts, stickers, and lunchboxes. Just check out the article below!

I guess we shouldn’t be too surprised, though. Some modern fairy tales were much more horrific in their original forms. If you’re curious, search for the original versions of The Little Mermaid or Sleeping Beauty… but don’t say I didn’t warn you!
