👀 Doctor Doom First Look, Peacemaker's Mysterious Alien, + More!

Among the many film adaptations out there, it’s safe to say that comic book movies have been given the largest amount of leeway when making changes to well-known characters on the big screen. Nevertheless, it’s somewhat encouraging to note that, despite the strange choice of re-using Robert Downey Jr. for a completely different Marvel role, at least the Doctor Doom costume, as shown in the article below, is recognizable from the comics.

Then there’s James Gunn, who’s not averse to creating major characters out of thin air, and why not? While we enjoy speculating, for example, about the possible identity of the alien that showed up in a recent episode of Peacemaker, who’s to say that the comics didn’t actually inspire this particular extraterrestrial at all? Nevertheless, it’s fun to try and guess based on the deep lore cuts outlined herein.

No one says you have to agree with or even enjoy these types of changes, but we feel like it’s our duty to lay them out for you so that you can decide for yourself.
