🎉 Fantastic Fest 2025 Highlights, Bugonia Review, + More!

What a year to make our first trip to Fantastic Fest! Not only was it the Austin event’s 20th anniversary making it that much more festive, but we had some amazing guests passing through our interview studio. In true “Keep Austin Weird” fashion, many of the screenings we attended were for some real out-of-the-box film concepts, and we simply couldn’t get enough!

Closer to home, we also spoke with Alien: Earth actor David Rysdahl about a transformative moment for his character in the recent finale (beware of spoilers). And our final featured item in today’s newsletter is our glowing review of Bugonia, which had a secret screening at Fantastic Fest, a very appropriate venue for such an off-the-wall sci-fi comedy tinged with social commentary.
