🦸♂️ Superman Review: The Long Lost Magic of a Classic Superhero
Superman can be a three-ring circus of superhero worldbuilding, but it achieves true grace whenever it narrows its focus to Lois and Clark.

It turns out it’s actually possible to reinvent a classic and do it right! With Superman preparing to take flight in theaters this weekend, we can’t help but notice there have been quite a few wake-up calls for Hollywood recently. With live action family fare like Lilo & Stitch and How To Train Your Dragon conquering other superhero and action offerings elsewhere, it’s nice to see that James Gunn’s vision may provide a bit of hope.
Jurassic World Rebirth, the latest in an underwhelming lineup of sequels, also appears to show evidence of careful rethinking of typical Hollywood strategy, at least when it comes to the Jurassic Park franchise. While far from perfect, its return to dinosaur wonderment shows evidence that someone out there is actually paying attention to what fans actually want.
Our thoughts on the matter are just our opinions, and everyone has ideas about how the movie industry needs to change and adapt. But clearly some things are working and others, even though they succeeded in the past, are no longer up to snuff. It’s undeniably difficult to nail down just what moviegoers will fork over their hard-earned cash to see in theaters. Hey, if it was easy, everyone would do it!
