đ˝ What Elle Fanning's Predator: Badlands Character Means for Alien's Future
Given that there are no humans in Predator: Badlands, the future would appear to be bleak for the native inhabitants of Earth in the Alien universe.

On paper, Predator: Badlands always seemed like an audacious concept: a movie where the Predator is the good guy and the only supporting character is a chatty Kathy robot gal named Thia. But not only does this latest entry fire on all cylinders according to our reviewer; itâs also turns out to be a box office hit and a real crowd pleaser. It proves that you can return to the well as long as you have a good script!
Was that also true for Frankenstein? Guillermo del Toroâs adaptation certainly had its flaws, and it was smack dab in the middle of our rankings for most faithful version over the years (see article below). But of course all of those films were based on the same source material whereas Alien and Predator can continue to branch out into new stories.
So the question remains: is it more difficult to adapt a classic with a new voice or to expand a universe that may have run its course?
